We’re Only Good When You Are.

Sure, we’re proud of the fact that our more then 3200 members have entrusted us with their money and that we are community based right here in Hamilton.

But impressive numbers are never our sole focus. Golden Horseshoe is about helping each of our members get to a good place with their finances, while improving the place we call home.

We are committed to the Co-operative Principles of the International Co-operative Alliance.

Golden Horseshoe Credit Union has over 50 years of caring member service. Our roots are in the steel industry – helping ArcelorMittal employees and their families reach their financial goals.

We know that there is strength in membership.

Joining

The process is simple. Fill out the new member application and a Golden Horseshoe Credit Union representative will contact you to become a member.

Sharing our profits

You can enjoy a payroll deposit account to help you build ongoing savings, or get a car loan when the time comes.

But did you know that at Golden Horseshoe, we have all of the services and products that you can rely on for all of your financial needs?

And because a credit union is owned by you, our members, you have a share in the credit union (Member Shares). We also share our profits with you through our profit sharing program.
